Parent Agreement - 2023-2024

As parent or guardian of a child(ren) in our St. Elizabeth Seton Religious Education Program, we ask that you abide by the following Parent Agreement.  Please take this Agreement seriously as we also do.

Weekly Mass Attendance is a crucial part of our Faith and is also an important component of your child’s Faith journey.  Families will attend weekly Mass.

Textbooks and folders are given to each student on the First Day of Classes and must be brought to class each week.  Parents are responsible for their child(ren) bringing their textbooks and folders to class each week.

Missed lessons due to illness absence must be made up with parent/guardian supervision before the next class.  Missed lessons due to weather closings must also be completed at home with parents/guardians.  Weekly chapters are noted on the syllabus.

Class Attendance it is essential that students regularly and consistently attend classes for the program to be effective.  Parents agree to bring their children on time and consistently to class.

Please recognize the gifts of time, preparation, and generosity that our dedicated volunteer catechists offer to bring the Good News to our parish children and be respectful of it.

Student Conduct

All students must adhere to the following codes of conduct:

  • Your sons and daughters are expected to be respectful and courteous at all times to both their catechists and classmates and of the classroom and building and grounds.
  • The use of cell phones or any other electronic devices is not allowed during class time, unless otherwise instructed by the catechist.
