In the Spring of 2025, our 7th Grade and our 6th Grade students will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Our 6th Grade students will attend weekly classes on Tuesday or Wednesday and begin in September with the 6th Grade textbook and then complete the Confirmation textbook.

Our 7th Grade students will attend weekly classes on Tuesday or Wednesday and receive Confirmation preparation beginning with a comprehensive review of our Catholic Faith and then complete the Confirmation textbook.


Dates for Confirmation are sent out from the Bishop’s office. The date will be sent to families once we receive it sometime in January.



Confirmation Requirements

  • Community Service

    Candidates are required to complete 25 hours of Community Service and 10 hours of Service to the Family.   Use the Service Log file to record the hours.

  • Saint Report

    Candidates are required to do research and choose a Saint who they find inspirational and write a report about that Saint.  This Saint name is usually also the Candidate’s Confirmation Name.   Further details on the report will be distributed in class.

  • Sponsor

    A Sponsor is chosen by the Candidate and the following requirements must be met by the person chosen:  Be a practicing Catholic, be at least 16 years of age, fully initiated in the Catholic Church, be a person the Candidate respects, be willing to guide the Candidate on their Faith Journey to Confirmation and be someone other than a parent.
